at first glance,  its a bit too much money but he probly expects a counter offer.   The mods he made are ok if well done,  but are aimed at improving the performance at auto-x.   If you plan to track it, great.  If you want an every day driver, it wont be optimal.  Whether you can put up with that level of harshness every day (w/out air)  will be up to you.  you only need to be honest with yourself.   (i expect to be lied to:eek:)

It really depends on what you're looking for. I'd pass on it as a daily considering the harshness of the suspension and quality (or lack of) of mods done. Probably not something I'd trust on a daily basis. Lowered e30's can be rather harsh daily, but to each their own. If you're looking for a fun weekend car to auto-x, this could be a good candidate assuming you could get for something closer to 3k or so.
