WTB: Wiring harness from firewall to gauge cluster, etc.
« on: October 28, 2012, 08:07:55 PM »
I'm swapping an M42 into my early M10-powered 318 this winter. I have the full engine wiring harness (including the runs to the ECU, etc), but on the driver's side I only have up to the large round multi-plug connector.

Soo....I'm looking for the firewall connector that that plugs into and the associated wiring under the dash (I assume this stuff goes to the gauge cluster/ignition primarily). I don't need the rest of the chassis electrical, as I'll keep all my stock stuff there.

So, if you're parting an M42 car and have the stuff I need, shoot me a PM and let's work out a deal.

I might actually have one of those, along with a fusebox.  Let me check through my junk & get back to you tomorrow.

I thought those were very similar parts between the e30's.  The parts I have are most likely from a '91 325i I parted out.  Just to be sure...you're not talking about the C101 round motor connector, you're talking about the firewall plugs & harness off the fuse block, right?
