Does anyone have a 1030 BMW E30 Subframe Bushing Tool that I could rent? Need to replace the bushing but every local place I have called to do the work for me said that they didn't want to take the job.

I rent the tool from SIR with is the 3026. It states that you can also do the e36 with it. PM me and I will email you.

Screw whatever ideas you're thinking about doing. This is by far, the cheapest, easiest and fastest way to perform this job. I was soooooo stoked when I found this:

It's for the trailing arm bushings, not the subframe bushings as I believe is what the OP is looking for.

As stated above I was doing the subframe bushings but thanks for trying to help me out that definitely would have helped had I been doing those.

The process took 12-15 hours total due to my having to run to Lowes 3 times and making a run to NAPA and Tractor supply for a giant drill bit.

After everything is said and done the car feels more planted and I got a lot of satisfaction knowing I did it myself. The only KIA I had was my speedometer impulse sender I think. My speedo know longer words. Hopefully I did not damage the wiring and maybe just the plug came loose. I forgot to unplug it while I was lowering and raising the diff around. That is on me and I am the idiot that did not disconnect it.
