Yep - you could have a borderline sensor that's not tripping a code.

A bad coil/driver or fuel injector would fail to fully burn the fuel mix in one cylinder - so yep, you'd get a rich mixture. However, it'll be mixed with the rest of the exhaust, so the sensitivity of the meter would play a big part.

Did you check the intake air temp sensor? It's pins 4 & 5 on the AFM.

Your WBO2 will be able to detect mixture problems, so it'll help in troubleshooting with all those issues.

is there way to detect those borderline sensors or the only way is to change it with a new one and see??

intake air temperature sensor issue: actually I checked the cables of AFM and there is no connection problem until the ecu.. and also I have tried more than 4 AFM with little of no change.. since the intake air temperature comes on the AFM I think there is so little chance of having all of the intake temp sensors not working..

I wish wideband sensor can tell me something about the problem..

ok.. here I have the AFR on my car.. ın ıdling I have 14,5-14,6-14,7 which seems perfect.. When I drive my car "normal" I have again 14,3 to 14,9 on the secreen.. and when I use it very fast like WOT position I have AFR going between 13,5 to 16,0 I am not sure but everything seems fine with AFR but my car doesnt pull good enough..

I found a repairmen and informed him about what we had done until now.. The only parts I havent tried or changed are cam and camshaft position sensors.. he said we should change both of them at the same time otherwise it will not work..

Is there any way like the ignition is lower than the supposed levels?? If so, does it have anything to do with these sensors??

Your going to blow the motor with those AFR's at WOT. Anything beyond 13.5 is not acceptable under heavy load and you will have major loss in power. I would check Injectors, Fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure, vac leaks, and fuel filter

+1 on that. Triple-check all the fuel components - fuel pump pressure and flow rate; FPR, fuel filter flow, etc.

OK.. here I have a video.. it starts with idling and in idling it runs 14,3/14,5/14,6 when I start driving the car normal like cruise it is again around 14,6 which you will see in the first section of the video.. by the way the first section finishes with another idling where you will see 14,6s again.. in the second part I drove the car in WOT very fast and AFR is about 13-14... you can understand what kind of driving is it just by listening the engine sound with the song also

I realized that if the car is cold in the first start AFR is about 13,5s and the light is not orange but green this time.. when it gets warmer it starts to around 14,6s..

I need your advice.. and remember there is no supercharger mounted on the car yet it is stock, atmospheric..

If your seeing 13.5AFR and over at 3/4 Throttle to Wide open you have fueling issues. I actually think I heard some detonation near the end of the video. I would sort out the problem before your head gasket let's go

Thank you for your interest.. Actually I have been driving it for a couple of days and I see AFR goes around 14-15.3 Correct me if I am mistaken but this is normal which is close to 14,6 but to be honest I dont have much info about what it should be while driving harsh and fast like WOT...

and now we also know AFR and our problem still goes on.. the car doesnt pull well under 3000 rpm and again doesnt pull well enough (I mean it is not as it is supposed to be after 3000 rpm) since I now it should go crazy after 3000 rpm..

I have one important question: what if I am having a borderline sensor of crank or crankshaft position sensor??? If so, is it possible I have good AFR but still have problem..

by the way, my fuel consumption is pretty high like 7 km with a one liter gas... if we assume 1 gallon is 3,75 liter it makes 26,75 km with a galloon... these are in town-driving consumption..

I'm no expert, but here's my understanding:

14.7 is the perfect "ideal" air/fuel mixture (stoichometric), so you should be seeing that when the car is in closed-loop mode - fully warmed up, idling or low-load part-throttle situations.

At WOT, the computer ignores the o2 sensor and changes the fuel mixture & spark maps. So the mixture should be pretty rich at WOT, I'd think down to 12:1 or so. Adding that extra fuel cools down the intake, preventing detonation. If you're leaning out high up in the RPM range you're going to kill that motor.

First determine you have no exhaust leaks where the head mates with the headers. second I would go into the back seat and pull out the pump and make sure there is no split/pinhole in the hose that does the loop to the physical electrical pump. replace fuel filter, replace Injectors and replace fuel pressure regulator. Also clean temp sensor located inside the AFM air flow path.
