What's up guys, you may have seen me on the Bimmerforums or R3vlimited or E30tech but here's the info on me and my car.

My names John and I'm a 17 year old high-school student out of Glendale, AZ.  My dad bought an  '98 M3 sedan a few years ago and has slowly lengthened the modification list on it and takes it out to PIR or Firebird for some of the BMW track days.

He's been a total gear head for just about his entire life (his dad owned a service station, he started working there when he was 8 or so) and one thing lead to another and this love for cars was passed onto me.  So, he'd been looking at different cars for me and decided he wanted to go with an E30.

We had been looking around on roadfly, etc and we finally found a group of guys  who bought E30's, fixed them up, and sold them.  We ended up buying my '91 318iS with about 94,XXX on the clock from them before I even had my permit because the car was the cleanest E30 we had seen.

So, I too have slowly added to my car and so far here's what my list is at:
-OZ Racing Monte Carlos and yoko evs100's
-H&R Springs + Bilstein struts
-Recaro buckets
-Alpine deck + Alpine 5 1/4" Type R's (only because my car was broken into, headunit was stolen so I upgraded)
-Viper 791XV alarm
-Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler (2 1/4")

I don't really have any other plans for the car other then maybe a set of black wheels but I'll stick with the OZ's for now, they look fine.  I'll probablly ended up with some more suspension modifications but I dont plan on touching the engine more then I have to because anything short of forced induction is going to be a waste.  I might buy a lightweight flywheel or do the 325 flywheel swap to rid my M42 of that 28lbs beast of a flywheel when I get a new clutch but we'll see.

Another thing I'm big into is car photography and I'm hoping to pick up a Canon Digital Rebel XT by the end of this school year, but for the moment I borrow the non-xt digital rebel via my photo class.  So here are some shots, hope you like them and I'm glad to be here!

(The white 325 is Devons aka DEV0 E30, M50 swap = win)

-John

Your car looks to be in awesome condition.  I like the contrast of the window tint to the paint.  Looks great and welcome.

lol some people just look and don't comment.. at least thats my guess.

the car looks good, but you definitly need some more rim and less tire. it looks like the car is still stock ride height almost because those fat tires fill up the space. looks weird kinda sorta. the car looks really nice, wasn't this the car that was rear ended before?

I'm diggin the wheel and tire setup, just need some like IE Stage 3 springs or something like that, get rid of all the gap and tuck a bit. That's my suggestion, other than that, ours look really similar, and u just convinced me to get the really dark tints, wuz up in the air but u sold me on that.

Nice lookin car.

I think the wheels would look 100% better with smaller tires though.

I agree that the tires are way too big and kind of throw off the look.

Eurospec:

My future plans will probablly be picking up a a set of Rotas in a group buy.  Whatever Rota wheel it is I want black (preferably) or gunmetal with a polished lip :)  Other then that I don't think I'm going to do too much to it.  Although, I am considering an S50 swap further down the road (few years) so we will see.

Nice clean car.  Not a fan of the rims (too simple for my taste), but different people have different tastes.  +1 on the black or gunmetal rims, they always look pretty sick on a silver ride :)

Nice photography too
