Ok, so I bought Tractor Boy's car! Title in my hands, just waiting on trucking company to pick it up and get it to me.
SO
I am selling my current 1991 318is. See below:
I'm looking to get $4000 out of the car, which is less than what I have in it, but that is pretty much how it goes, right? I may end up asking more if I get the passenger seat repaired, or get the seats redone, or end up fixing all the little things before I get it sold.
Link to photos is at the bottom -
Note:
1. Pictures are showing compression checks on all four cylinders. These are on a COLD engine (should have done with warm). They were even across all four.
2. Some of the pictures are of the recirculation baffles I spoke of that I rebuilt
3. One picture shows the area beneath the battery to show there is no rust anywhere on the car (this area usually rusts first from what I hear)
4. The picture of the car sitting in a parking lot beside a Chevrolet car is the CURRENT picture. It shows the spoiler on the back and the clean body. It really is a straight, clean body. Paint is fairly recent (no rock chips on the hood at all), and is a pretty good paint job I think. It shines up nicely and I am extremely happy with its appearance.
5. The rest of the photos are from when I bought it and are pictures taken from the dealer when they listed it for sale some time ago. Note that it shows no spoiler, chrome 318is emblems, a broken 6 button obc, no carpeted dash cover (only shows cracked dash), and a little bent area under the rear bumper. The spoiler and 318is were blacked out when I got them, I repaired the bent area under the bumper, OBC was replaced, dash cover was installed (by the dealer selling it), and I replaced the radio (but I may be swapping it into the new one - not sure yet). The engine was clean and is still that clean. Oh, and I replaced the washer bottle cap (missing in the photos) and the roundel on the trunk
I will try and take more recent pictures soon.
Thanks,
Tom
