I would buy this one instead.  It sounds like a really good deal. He has already done all the major stuff that we have to do to these cars, save the timing chain.  I sent him an autocheck on it.  It is on the up and up.  If I wanted a convertible I would jump on it like white on rice.

If the no rust thing checks out and it's mechanically sound then yes.

you can get a bid to ship a car on uship.  I had my 318is shipped from FL to TN.  Just FYI.  Might not be as much as you think.  I took a risk buying sight unseen, but it paid off.  uship is easy to use as well.

Yes, I would buy that e30.  Especially if there are service records and maintenance has been done and the rest of it's in good shape.

Test drive went alright... Smelled clutch, noise from rear (strut mount I assumed), a little rust in battery tray, Suspension was super "squishy"
Guy had 2 F'in HUGE 12's in the trunk absolutely ruined the handling
No records, he only owned it 2 years and didn't know much about it's history and only had 1 dealer sticker in the door jamb
New water pump, and aftermarket radio(looked sloppily installed)

All things considered not too bad, offered him 2200, and I bet he takes it if no one comes over the weekend, but he said that someone else offered him 27 but hadn't actually paid yet
If this one doesn't work out though I am staying away from RED(which is funny I usually like a red car but something about the 'vert in red turned me off)

So you are looking at the one on Boca aka S. FL. but not the one in N. FL? I have seen the one in N. FL and it is very clean, albeit a few years ago. It is owned by an older gentleman that I doubt has taken it to any track events. fwitw

yeah I know I don't make any sense... vonkamp and i couldn't come together on a price & I know ppl (MY brother)in south FL that test drove the car and as much as it is listed @3500 that is no where near what I have negotiated thus far as the owner would really like to get rid of it ASAP

and now levent over at guten parts in NJ just messaged me on r3v about a triple blue for around 2500 (2days later still no reply but it is a holiday weekend)
