Couple questions.. I have asked some of them before, but I forgot where I posted and I did it right before the internets crashed... So yea...

Anyway - I tried swapping the tensioner and I couldnt get the old one to come out.. I pulled on it with pliers, tried hitting it with a hammer.... nothing..

Is there something im missing? I thought that as soon as I remove the cap, it would pop right off.

I am also looking to get a new driver's side fender, possibly some euro lights, and DEFINITELY a front IS lip... Also I ont have any money but I do have a bunch f E34 parts and other stuff. I will have some money in a bit.

BTW: I gave my engine a quick tune up, and the thing is awesome! I feel like its laggin a little still.. but pobbaly because of the AFM as opposed to hotwire MAF... Now it has no hesitation or misfires... Its great!

And a few other things - I am tihnking about refreshing the engine next summer prolly gonna need to replace a bunch of gaskets and stuff.

there are two bolts on the tensioner, one that connects the tensioner to the block and the other to adjust the height of the tensioner. The adjustment bolt is an allen key, its rather difficult to get to when the car is on the floor...it would make your life much easier if the car is jacked up in front.

i thought so at first...but he mentions taking of a "cap." The tensioner has a cap but that would pop right out once you loosen it with the 19mm..

Sounds like you're talking about the AC belt tensioner. Very low on the front of the engine right?

The bolt that goes through the middle of the pulley shouldn't do much (the plastic cap is just to protect the bearing from crap), but the allen at the bottom is what adjusts the tension.

Check behind the bracket. you might need a screwdriver or something like that to dislodge the little piece that keeps the allen from falling out.
