I did some digging around in the engine bay this morning before I left for class. The short hose going from the ICV to the intake is the only one that wasn't replaced when I did the mess under the intake so I suspected it to be the culprit if it is a vacuum leak. When I check it out, I noticed that the hose coming out of the other end of the ICV, which I have running to the intake elbow, was at a pretty harsh angle. It didn't seem to completely kinked but I could see it getting that way as vacuum is pulled.
I will sort that out and see where it gets me when I get the car back on its wheels. I am fixing some brake issues while its in the garage.
As for the oil leak, I haven't gotten around to finding it yet but the whole underside of the pan seems to be covered in a thin layer of oil.
I am not sure that this will fix my issues so I am still open to ideas if anyone comes up with any.
