biljak - 318iS from Croatia
« on: November 14, 2006, 07:22:43 PM »
Hello guys! It's nice to see all this m42's in one place. :)
I've found out for it on bimmer.info and registered immediately.

I am from Croatia, and I have '90. 318is in a pretty good condition.
Before this one, I had e36 318is.

Here are some pics of my ex E36 and current E30.
The pictures are not very recent (6 months ago) and some things have changed since than (exhaust, intake, rear lights, ICE, etc.), but I will take some new pics and post them if you would like.

Hope to help with my knowledge.

Very nice 318is...I really miss my Diamantschwartz. Are those 15 inch euro weaves?

Hi twin. Show us pics of that wooden steering wheel. It better not be the Nardi or else I'm going to have to fly over there and take it from you.:D

here are some pics taken today. my brother has just bough a 320i for himself. now we can make a little bmw meeting in our yard :D

also, I've bought 16'' borbet rims for summer tyres. will mount them in march probably. can't wait!

btw, what is "15 inch euro weaves?" do you mean 15 inch rims or what? and why euro? sorry, i'm not familiar with the US models

here you can see pics the day when I bought my iS.

also, you can see the wooden steering wheel there. it's just a bad knock-off of a nardi, i gave it to a frend of mine. Currently I have a MTech2 Wheel

Nice. How come your battery is at the front? Ever think about moving it to the back for better weight distribution?

What are the specs on the Borbets? I'm asking because it doesn't seem like it has a deep lip. But of course, not everyone wants the "eurostretch".:)

all rims are 7.5Jx16 H2, 16''
front ones have smaller lip, and rear ones have bigger.
i don't know the ET.

Quite impressed with the before and afters of your car. Post some pics after you've installed the new wheels.

Yeah I was talking about your 15 inch rims. I said Euro because we only got them in 14 inch. My first E30 was a 320i imported from Germany. It was a fun car but I prefer my M42s :D
