As the user name implies I'm a mechanic. I work at shop that specializes in European autos. I love working on these cars and when I had the opportunity to buy another E30 I jumped on it. My previous BMW affair was with an 87 325E that I scored for $350 with a crunched front right corner. I drove it for about a year then sold it for $1600.
This new find is a 1991 318is I bought from a guy that just stopped by the shop one day wanting to sell it. He wanted $800 for it but after looking it over and seeing that it was not running and had the intake manifold partially disassembled, I offered $500 and we had a deal.
