Ok so I have had my e30 318is for a little over 3 years now. Here is what it looked like before.

I still need to do the interior and a few other odds and ends but this is what it looks like now. I want to do the interior in a black and white plaid with the headliner in the plaid and the inserts on the seats in plaid with thes rest in black leather. The car is going to be lowered eventually. I also have a ko3 turbo out of a golf gti that is also going to be put in eventually. Lots of plans and no money but hey! It looks good

It does look good, you should be proud of what you've accomplished. Those first few shots are pretty rough, but the car looks solid underneath.

Three years isn't too long for fixing up an older car...especially if it's a DD.

What exhaust do you have on the car? I like that tailpipe!

Thanks! I had the exhaust done at a local exhaust shop. It was straight piped to a vforce muffler but since I moved to town I had to quiet it down a bit to make the neighbors happy. Im now running a 2inch pipe with a catalytic converter and a non-sport muffler. Its quiet enough for the neighbors but loud when I want it to be. I got the exhaust tip at autozone.

Thanks! The odo wasnt working when i got the car. It was stopped at 195000. So i would definatly say over 200000. I had the head redone when i got it since all 16 valves were bent from jumping time. I like the tires but there is a little rubbing when i make sharp turns. Im going a size smaller when i get new ones.

Forgot to ask. What size tire should I get? It has 205/60/r16s on it now. I was thinking 205/50/r16 but I would like to go wider. What do you guys think?

A truly nice looking coupe you have there!

It would seem that 205/50-16 has a better chance of not rubbing, after double checking tirerack says that is the recommended size in 16".

As far as wider, why bother. It will probably just make a street car of this size feel heavy and sluggish, but will provide nice grip with the right tire.

Looks great! Very nice job. The black Roundels and newer taillights set it off nicely. Did you repaint the entire car or did you accomplish that with just rubbing it out?

And more details on those wheels. They look like the ASA AR1s but not quite. The spokes have a bit more angle to them, but I like the dish. Drop that thing a bit to get rid of the 4x4 ride height and she will be just about perfect. Definitely a look I would like to achieve on my 89 325i.

Thanks! The wheels are 16inch esm 008's I got off ebay and the entire car was repainted. I'm looking at smaller tires right now since that rub I was talking about earlier is actually causing damage to the body espescially around the front fenders. Once I get new tires its off to the body shop again to get the damage fixed. Hopefully they dont charge me a ton for my screw up.
