WTT WTB front windshield, cruise parts in Okla. City
« on: February 26, 2012, 02:24:07 AM »
I need a clean front windshield for 91 318is. Will trade parts for it or pay cash if it's in or near Oklahoma City.  I can probably get one at pull a part but I'm not motivated to do that yet. I may buy a new OEM one.

I want cruise control parts, and 3.90 or 3.73 LSD, but not interested in buying these, only trade for other parts I have.

I have a 91 white 318is hail damaged parts car to pull parts from for trade. Clean title if someone wants the shell. No LSD diff. Standard 4.10 open diff. Does have brand new OEM rear window with defrost. Good side glass too. All body panels trashed from hail damage. Have good front & rear valance/bumpers.

Motor/trans/driveshaft, gas tank, front seats, glove box, sunroof headliner, wheels, front & rear springs, fuel pump, radiator & AC compressor not available.

I also have bunch of 2002 parts ( parted out 4 already, 2 roundie, 2 square ) & some E28 parts to trade or sell.

How bad is the damage on the front fenders?

I'll post pics by tomorrow. Mostly dents near top of fender. Pass side has one big one, both sides have many small ones, maybe 8 to 10 or more. I'm sure they could be saved, but I'm a noob with bodywork.

Big dent on passenger side. That's the worst, I'll try to get pics of small dents soon, as soon as I figure out how to light the shot to make all the dents show up.

I got the meguiars cleaner/polish & went over the top edge of the fender to remove some of the grease & dirt, but still have trouble getting a good shot that shows all or most of the damage. Heres a few more pics. Note the small rust area near bottom of fender where paint is missing & the small crease at back edge, besides the small dents behind the big dent.

Drivers side is hard to get to right now for pics because my garage is so small & my tool box & everything is on that side.
