New Spark Plugs
« on: January 10, 2012, 04:34:27 PM »
Wound up buying and installing Bosch OEM replacement spark plugs today for the 318is.

The surprise was that two of the old plugs were barely finger tight when I removed them.

I gotta say, the car runs noticeably better with fresh plugs, all torqued properly. :-)

that may be better than super tight,  which is what my plugs were when I first changed them.  man I was afraid of  tearing the threads out of the head, but they took it

Oh I hear that!

I used an in.-lbs. torque wrench for the install.
