So I finally took the time and bought some new tires to put on the e30.
Ended up with Bridgestone Insignia, OEM size 196/65-14 on the stock baskets. The tire center could not believe the car actually had 345k miles on it.

It is truly amazing how smooth this car rides now.

345K is an accomplishment, bet they'll never see another one either!  I didn't blink when I bought my car with 266K on it, these cars can really last with a bit of luck & TLC.
