I just bought 4 rotors & 2 sets of brake pads. Not the best but not the cheapest either. Total price including freight $157.00 for everything from Rock Auto.

Centric Premium pads.
Raybestos Profesional Grade rotors (painted black)

R1Concepts had good prices also.

Total price including installation $227.00...Not worth me doing the labor for only $75.00.

Not bad at all. How do the pads & rotors feel?

The brakes look & feel great. I have seated the pads & rotors with about 10 hard stops at 30 mph. They should last a long time since most of my driving is back roads. I will report on wear.

Next project is new Z3 shifter along with changing all moving wear parts (kit from Pelican)

could've save $75. brake and rotor replacement is a piece of cake.

I am an old fart & still work many hours. I only have so much spare time & spare money. I have 2 hobbies�my car & my experimental airplane. The plane gets more of my time unfortunately. I rather spend the car time finishing the interior door panels, doing the shifter kit, fixing the right rear speaker, fixing the disa, finding why the steering is a little loose etc...These things I fix myself & won't pay to have fixed. Plus, fixing these things doesn�t keep me from driving the car on the weekend.

I was reading on r3v that some people are using roller bearings in place of the rubber parts for the shifter linkage....I'm definitely going to explore that come spring time and warmer weather.
