This first picture is the core just sitting on the bumper lip. Just to get a feel of the look. It will be perfectly centered when it is complete.

Circled in red are the original bumper core mounting holes for the bumper skin. I will be using these existing holes for the angle mounting.

Wazzu70 are you a current student? I am attending WSU right now, CE... We have a local BMW group that often gets together to talk/eat/gawk/photograph with one another... Our pro photographer just graduated on Saturday so he will be leaving us in a couple months although his parents live here, I got some great photos from him though!!

Both of you, Wazzu70 and bbarnumboy should join this local club: NWBMWClub.com; it covers WA/OR/ID/MT. Basically a great group of guys that are always interested in awesome projects such as the OP!

Extra Tabs for the intercooler have been made and welded on. I may be making additional arm style brackets to support the bottom before installation.

Completed the installation of the heat exchanger for the intercooler system. This was surprisingly simple to do. The spacing is so perfect. If i didn't know any better i would say this heat exchanger was perfectly built for the E36.

Here's some more eye candy of the mounting process of the heat exchanger.

Next up is to get the pump mounted and plumbed up. On a side note, the supercharger i got just passed with an A+ when being tested. I wanted to make sure everything was safe and sound since i got it for a steal!

Well i have been gone for 2 weeks on a road trip. I am back now and things are back on track with the project. I have received the new supercharger pulley and belt tensioner in the mail. I am still waiting for the custom crank pulley to be finished. Here are some pictures. The reason for the new stuff is because i have decided to go with a 6 rib belt instead of the crappy 4 rib that came with the supercharger.

is the new crank pully going to have a rubber part? the stock one prevents the crank from experiencing heavy vibration from accessories. I imagine having a SC would increase vibration in the belt system when getting on/off throttle.

The Vibration dampener is stock. The stock piece consists of 2 parts bolted together. i am only making a new version of the part that bolts to the dampener. So in the end i will be using the stock vibration dampener.

Yeah, I was under the car this weekend doing to the fan delete, and saw the crank pully. I forgot it was two pieces.

So was the crank pully custom, or did you find one from another engine/car that needed a bit of machining?

I've been eyeing the whipple superchargers. The last time I looked into it, Whipple had not put out the small 100AX, and said that it would be about a year till it would be released. They should be selling it by now.

I would probably need to do the same about the belt driving the SC, as you are doing now.
