Found a set of 16x7, 38mm offset including 10mm hubcentric spacers, 4x100.

Will this fit on our 318is?

With ET28 the clearance issues will depend on the design of the wheel.  Some wheels would clear some may not.  A trial fit may be the only way to be 100% certain of knowing.

I'd be willing to bet they would work fine.

if you used 15mm spacers I would guarantee perfect fitment.

Generally a 6" width can be up to 35mm while 7" can be up to 25mm to clear the strut housings. So 38-10=28mm would be close and I'm sure would depend on the amount of contact patch and size of the tires as well as your camber settings.

So what 2002maniac said, "I'd be willing to bet they would work fine. if you used 15mm spacers I would guarantee perfect fitment." . would be the way to go!  Go from a 10mm to a 15mm spacer.

If you go with spacers, please remember to use longer wheel bolts!

I've had good experience with Vorshlag. Their prices are pretty good for wheel stud kits too. http://www.vorshlag.com/wheelstuds.php

Yup. I have their studs as well.

Order a few extra studs and nuts and ALWAYS put anti-sieze on them.  I slacked and ended up with two galled studs :(
