does it mean anything , that i ran my vin through real oem and it is january of 91 , does that mean it was one of the first sent to the states?

Nope.  My sedan is from Aug '90.  From what I understand, the e30 M42 started off a few months before that and ran until the last of the M42 'verts in early '94.
