Hey all, I've noticed some 318's have a panel behind the headlight with a port in it for fresh air to the airbox. Some, like mine, just have a short tube on the airbox that dangles in space and takes air from behind the headlight area. Is this panel available, or do I have to cut my old one, what do you do think?

the one I'm looking for resides on a friend of mines car....he's not around now. next time I see him I'll snap a pic. It is a stock piece on his 92 318i vert, while my 91 is does'nt have it

My sedan has one with the port...I thought they all did?!? I'll see if I can't dig one up for you.

yeah, the set-up on mine was definitely bone stock- plain no port panel, and the snorkle just hanging right behind the headlight area.
