Hey guys, new to the forum. Been apart of R3V and bimmerforums for awhile now and just found out about this forum.

I'm 18, just graduated. I've had two E30's. My first was an '85 318i, needed a lot of work but was a good starter car. But then later there more problems and it cost me and my dad wayy too much so now that  is my parts car.

Then I bought this clean '91 318is for under $1500. Changed the shocks and put some tweeters, rear speakers, radio, and cleaned the whole interior. Then last weekend I put on my new H&R sport springs and I've changed some interior that I will post pics of later.

Well here she is. Hope you like!

Here is how she sat beore last weekend:

And then after I put on the springs:

Here is how I am going to paint the rest of the engine. The intake manifold will be factory grey and thent he face plate for the engine will be wrinkle black and file the edges!

Welcome to the 'club...hope you find it enjoyable & illuminating...

Nice car - Alpineweiss/Natur is a particular favorite of mine.  Had an e34 with the same colors.  Were your seats re-covered?  If not, that's a really clean interior!  You should get an Ebay BMW change pocket & put it where the front ashtray was.

H&R's are the classic spring for these cars, really helps the stance.  Good luck with the motor paint; did you check the upper oil pan bolts & cam timing gears?

Thanks man! And yes I have a soft spot for Alpineweiss cars! And no the seats were not re-covered! Those are the original vinyl for them. And I had an ashtray but not anymore cuz that is where I put my ipod when it is connected to my radio! :D

Just got this new muffler and chrome tip put on this morning! It's a magnaflow and it sounds money! I love it and the tip is crazy good looking! Check it out :D

The chrome tip was a little too big so what the guy did was roll back the lip and looks great in my opinion! He did a great job!

How difficult was it to fit the muffler?  Pretty much a slip-on job?  LMK the part number, my muffler is rotting away and will need replaced sooner rather than later.

How noisy is it?

Ya pretty much. I didn't do it and didn't watch. This guy in town did it for me but it flows great and the guy did it in an hour. He tacked on the tip and it looks awesome.

And it's not that noisy. It has a low rumble but when u get into the higher RPM's its a nice head turner loud ;)

And for the part number?? I'll just say its a Magnaflow hah
