Love the rims and the car color.  I fly with a friend of mine from Belgium.  He has an Audi but loves the drive of my 318iS, which BTW is the same color as yours.  Let us know if you need parts.

Hey guys, thx for the comments, he is from belgium and flies with you? Are you a pilot? Would he be able to bring back a lightweight flywheel? What is nice about Belgium (among other things offcourse) is that its next to germany, so i spend hours searching the german ebay for parts. But a FW is not available here..

You belgium guys are sure lucky. It's like rednecks and Ford/Chevy's here probably in terms of parts/prices but the only difference is everyone admires Bimmers. :) Welcome.

Yeah its goin to be a full rebuild, new pistons/bearing etc. Also going to balance pistons, rods. Shaving off kilo's on my (non dual mass)flywheel. Elestric fan, Custom exhaust after header. Prob flow the head too. Looking at some TB's off an m3, maybe they will fit somehow? Also catcam company is 5 minutes away and through my raceteam i can get a good deal on a set of cams. I was looking at their "just a bit better than stock" cams, which uses stock springs, because i would like to maintain(is that correct english??) some drivebility (damn Im so tired I cant type anymore....or spell), but claim to give another 15-20 hp extra with good chip. Also got a chip (the cheap ebay one).....ill try to keep most of the stuff on this threat

sweet. how much are you getting your cams for? (well hmmm not sure if that'd help since it wouldn't be a price in usd) I'm getting a set regrinded to a schrick profile for $75 usd each.
somewhat of a teaser...

The second and third pictures at the beginning of this thread made my cabin fever spike. I watched three teenagers race RC cars behind a  hobby store at the mall yesterday for over an hour. I've got it bad.

Yeah exactly, but my HPI RS3 4 now has all the carbon bits so a E30 M42 was the ONLY logical next step! hihi
