I have a set of 4 BMW 4 pintle injectors that I took off my car. They were running fine when I took them off. Reason for removing...doing the mess under the intake & put 4 new gen 3 4 pintle Mustang injectors back in. The new injectors made very little difference if any. The car is a little smoother in acceleration, that is all.
The old injectors were actually very clean when they came out (for the mileage) If I would have known they were gen 2 4 pintle, I would not have bought the Mustang ones. I would have just overhauled the old ones...too late.
From a 1993 318is M42 engine.
