Nice find but I would recommend doing all the basics first.
BMW master key ~ $10 from dealer
Wheel Bearing
Fix or at least touchup the rust spots before the salt and snow hits

This is one of the best ones I've found: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/POR-15-CLEAR-PINT-POR15_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ10076QQhashZitem220043114161QQihZ012QQitemZ220043114161QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Make sure you get the clear version. 1 pint goes a long long way. I've only used up half of mine and covered so many spots with it already.

Nice car, skip the intake though, it won'y do anything.  The stock airbox is really efficient.

Do it like I did, take care off all the minor interior/exterior stuff first...ie roundels, shift knob, lenses, rust issues, etc.  Then do all the minor maintenance stuff first like all fluids, filters, plugs, etc.  From there, you're set up for success on a full suspension install, a Mark D chip, tint, seats, etc.
