E36 318is rack into E30 318is??

What's the best rack to swap into a 318is w/ airbags without having to modify everything.  The dealer around here Inksip BMW wants $689 for a reman plus a $500 core charge.. I'm not dropping $1K+ for a rack.

Anyone got a M42 318is rack for sale that doesn't leak?  I'm going through about a quart of fluid every 3 or 4 days.

Best rack is the E46 Clubsport/ ZHP or the E46 Compact racks.


They are very easy to fit too.


those two threads make it sound so much more complicated than it really is too to be honest.
