LUK clutch

Apparently my trusty 91 318IC came with a LUK clutch instead of the usual Sachs model, which is a surprise.  Sachs replacement will not fit.  Did the LUK clutch come with its' own dual mass flywheel?  Any info appreciated as this is a head scratcher.

I thought they were interchangeable?  The parts should be the same...check the part number against RealOEM...that's the acid test.

You should be doing the m20 flywheel conversion anyways!

I did read that the 325i convertible single-mass flywheel was thinner and required no modification for using on the m42, while many/all of the non convertibles had a slightly thicker flywheel which required shaving down to not hit the block.
