Not sure about the part number but I do have Silverstar H4's.
Some people claim they are no better than any other bulb (from what I have seen, only BMW people, and all due to a single article), other people swear by them (Camaro owners love the hell out of them).

I like them. There are bulbs out there that put out more light, but most cost a lot more.

My advice, try them, do not let some of these people claiming they suck dissuade you. I never heard anything bad about them untill I heard the BMW guys start bashing them.

I have the SS in my E46 and really have noticed a difference.  Also put them in the fogs.  I will look for the H4s.  BTW I picked up a pair of H1ST for the fogs and they are no where close to the correct fit or design.  What do you have in your fogs?

I do not have stock fogs, just some cheap PIAAS with stock bulbs they came with. H1 is a high beam bulb.

You will probably not find an H4 labeled headlight.
Look for a 9003 or HB2. They are the same bulb. H4 is a European designation I think.

If you can, try to get the Euro Sylvania's as they have better output.

I wonder why the Sylvania's site no longer lists the lumens?

When buying any bulbs, you really want to look at the Lumens as this dictates how much light they really put out.

Also, every manufacturer has a timeline of their bulbs on when they actually start losing lumens after a certain amount of operating hours.

So just because your bulbs haven't burnt out yet doesn't mean you don't need new bulbs. Just a fyi...

Good info there.  I found some euro elips and see where SS has a H3ST fog.  Hope to do this light thing this weekend.
