stance!!
« on: March 01, 2011, 08:18:36 AM »
hi there guys
in need of abit of help from anyone in the know! I basically have brought some 17x7.5 ET35 wheels and I now need to purchase tyres and spacers. I want the rim to sit flush with the arch and the tyres half tucked into the arch. I am going to get my arches rolled aswell. I was thinking to go for 185/35s up front and 195/40s out back. Does anyone know if thats the right tyre sizes to go for for the look I want. Also does anyone know what size spacers ill need front and back. I know this is an E36 but this is how I want the wheels on my E30 sitting.

O yeh im sure u will know because of the sight but just incase its an E30 318is!
Any help appreciated
cheers

I have 15x8 et0 with 225 tyres and they poke out quite nicely (on a e30). i would get the wheels and 185 tyres then test fit for your spacers. you maybe be looking at 30mm spacers which isnt ideal. i would try and get wheels with less offset, like 25, 15 etc. hope that helps. heres a good site that you can play around on http://www.rimtuck.com/search.php

yer you should be ok depends on how low you want your car, my guess is quite low so you may need to role your guards which isnt to much of a drama. just mount the wheels up and go from there, if you need it to stick out more, get a bigger spacer. you will get the look you want, you just need to play around a little.
