I thought I would finally introduce myself. My name is Matt and I am located in Nashville, TN. I have owned quite a few different cars in the last several years. I have just always felt like every car/truck was missing something.
I owned an E34 at one point. It was a 95 525I. While it was immaculate, it was an auto and not very fun. I got my wife a 92 E36 once. It was a 4 door 325I and an Auto. Fun to drive, but the interior would fall apart just looking at it.
That leads me to the E30. I have always wanted one, but was never patient enough to wait for the right one. Most of the ones I have seen locally are ragged out. I finally ran into this beauty while searching for my next vehicle. After test driving it I immediately fell in love. It is a 1991 318IS.
I have done the following since I have owned it:
-Volvo Lip
-Polished and waxed the paint. It was dull and had zero shine when I got it.
-Replaced a ball joint.
-New brake pads on all four corners
-Changed the oil
-Added Ultimate cup holders
-Added Keyless Entry. Cost me $22 at Pepboys
- Set of new Uniroyal tires. They are a touring tire and actually seem to handle and ride really nice. 14" tires are so cheap!
- Installed a Yakima Roof Rack.
- Repainted the front and rear lower valences.
- Installed heavy duty rubber floor mats.
- Installed a CD player with a Ipod hook up.
- Fog lights are on order.
- Repaired the interior lights so they come on when you open the doors.
