For the people with z3 m shifter did you encounter any problem when installing? Worth getting the z3 m shifter?

i love it, at first it felt like it was sticking but i put naextra washer on it to clear and has been good ever since. i would do it it took me 20 minutes to install.
e36 m42 project.....

I might go with z3 1.9 but not sure will it plug and play without any modification.

it is pretty well plug and play. you may need to modify the shifter a small amount but for the most part is straight forward. i would change out all the bushings while your at it.
e36 m42 project.....

i used a E21 shifter. very short and smooth, not like the Z3 shifter that was in the car.
