I'm not sure if it would be TUV certified. You can either use a MAF adapter if your using the stock AFM or if you have a MAF conversion(miller makes one)then you need nothing other than my kit to bolt it on.

Is this the adapter you need?

(from eBay: 84-91 BMW E30 318 325 M3 Air Intake MAF Adapter +Filter)


This comes with a filter, apparently.

I bought one of these CAI's off you a couple of months ago. I think it definitely gave my m42 a bit of extra pull at higher revs and the induction note at full throttle is cool too!

Here are some photo's of the intake as i installed it.
I just got an AFM adapter from ebay, and a slightly smaller hose clamp, because the one supplied for hooking up to the AFM adapter was just a little too big. I kind of screwed the flex pipe into the headlight cover too...

can add an endorsement, as  I put one of these on my 318is over this past weekend.   Quite simple to install, and definitely did make a difference. the car definitely pulls more willingly in the upper range,  accompanied by a not too intrusive but definitely noticeable intake howl..if you like hooning around town looking to get a ticket, this'll do it!!:eek:  seriously tho,  it does change the personality just a bit, and I have found myself stepping on it more just to get the rush of acceleration and noise...so do use responsibly!

I will always be trying to improve this kit. I've had a few customers use the Velocity stack with great results.

Today I'm releasing the new Ver.4 kit it uses a rubber trimmed bracket to ensue the clearcoat on the C.F canister does not get damaged. All future kits sold on the forum will be the Ver.4 kit.
