Real name:  Dan McCool
Location:  Delmont, PA  (near Pgh.)
Occupation:  Physical Therapist Assistant
Age:  42
I'm married with 4 kids, 2 boys and identical twin girls (hence the screen name).  I've had my E30 for a year now and love it.  I'll do my  buying experience thread later.  Whoever the PO was definitely appreciated the car because he did some nice mods.
I have a Brillantrot 318is with 99% perfect black interior.  Just a couple of wear spots in the drivers seat.  The interior needs a good cleaning however.  One of these days I'm going to take it apart and do it right.  The exterior has been re-sprayed and looks pretty good.  I've got some rust on the passenger rocker panel/door sill and above the right rear tail light that will need fixed.  There is an aftermarket door on the passenger side that I'm going to replace.  I recently picked up a rust free southern door for $30 at the Charlotte, NC Pull-A-Part.  You southern guys are lucky that way.  The car also came with 16" M Contour replicas on the rear and weaves on front for some reason.  All I've done pretty much since purchase is general maintenance and cosmetics.

New parts:
Roundels
Antenna mast
muffler
O2 sensor
Fuel filter
Coil packs, wires and plugs
Replace all vacuum lines
Cleaned intake system to throttle plates and ICV
New Hella H4's

Current mods:
K&N panel filter
BavAuto High Perf. coils
H&R sports I believe (they may be the race springs because it sits LOW-TBD)
Bilstein sports
M3 CAB's
Dynomax Super Turbo muffler
Some sort of unidentfied SSK
Pioneer sound system
Stock Basket Weaves w/ Kumho's
Blacked out kidneys

Future plans/mods:
steering rack of some sort (leaking badly)
I'm in process of getting JC chip
install door and get paint/bodywork done
paint weaves black & polish lips (still considering this)
Redline oil in diff. and gear box
some sort of rear camber kit

I'll post some pics when I figure out how to decrease the file size.

This site is awesome, I love it.
Happy motoring, Dan.

Yes, that's my real name.  I'll post up some pics when I figure out what I'm doing.  Plus, I've got to get some current ones.  All I have now are from right after purchase.

Febi, how long and when did you live in the 'burgh?  I like the stillers but the sorry ass Oakland Raiders are actually my favorite team.

We had some nice weather yesterday in PA so I took advantage of it and washed off the salt and shined the e30 up a bit.

Thanks to Febi Guibo for the help with the picture hosting.

hey man, great ride.... your interior looks really nice... for whatever reason I always like lowered cars on stock rims...

anyway... i lived in the shadyside from 1974 to 1980... the neighborhood changed a lot in those years, oh man. My uncle still lived there (shadyside, then wexford) until about 3 years ago when he took another job in atlanta. The last of us... (my idiot cousin) goes to dusquene... (my uncle was like... 'you're on your own, good luck')

...anyway, watch out for the moron in the blue prelude with a penguins license plate holder...

raiders? sheesh... oh man...! :)

car looks great!!!

Nice car, looks clean and simple. Sadly, their my favorite too, I even got a t-shirt from when they were in los angeles. My mom almost gave it to goodwill after my dad doesn't fit in it anymore, he's had it since highschool
