Heres my Boston green M42 318is :)
« on: November 27, 2010, 07:37:35 AM »
Its been a gradual build up from a standard fairly beaten up example to where i am now, im happy with it but im running out of styling ideas, any suggestions? I know i need a new front bumper but should i stick to Mtech?
Also cant decide whether my wheels are better off graphite or should i do something else with em? thanks for any help

Also thinking of lowering it 40mm, is that a good idea? it handles well anyway with the Mtech suspension

Nice looking car.  You should post some before pictures too!

I'd keep it higher like that, too low & you'll need an oil pan skid plate.

IMHO, some updated M3 brakes would make it just perfect.  Not only style...but substance too.

i dont really have many pics of it mate, although i have a few more on my profile.
I fitted drilled and grooved discs already. they are good but would the m3 brakes be better?

They couldn't hurt, just a bit more sprung weight.  I don't have any performance info though.  I'm really just jealous because you e36 fellas can bolt them right on.   Much more work to adapt good brakes to the old e30's.
