Hello Everyone, my name is Tim, I've had my E30 for about 2 yrs now and love everything about it.  I haven't done a whole hell of a lot to it yet, other than replace the godawful halo lights that were in it when I bought it.  I replaced them with simple sealed beams for now, quick cheap fix, I eventually want all yellow hellas.

Enough babble, on to the pics.
Enjoy!

The day I brought it home..

The following day..

Car looks fantastic!

So glad you ditched the lights it came with. I think some frenched or smoked Hellas will look fantastic on it. I'd also get some euro grills and do some all-red tails, but you're on the right track.

Any interior shots?

No interior shots as of yet.  The driver's seat is a mess, foam is good but the covering is shredded in a few spots. Passenger seat is mint.  Rear seat top and bottom both have aftermarket slip covers on them because the actual covering is missing.  The headliner is gone, bare roof and OE Cardboard stuff up there.  I'm in the process of making a new shift boot, and ebrake boot. I'd love to wrap my A and B-Pillar moldings and re-upholster the inserts of the door panels but I think that the doors are going to be a bitch! Just bought a parcel shelf (car didnt have one before) and premium speakers.

I'm hoping to re-do the seats in black microsuede from Kevin at CreativeOptions and get a headliner from him too.. i could personally care less if my sunroof worked although i do have a complete sunroof module in my garage ready to replace the current broken one.

I'm chipping away one bit at a time but I'm having a blast. I don't know what I want to do for wheels though.  At first I wanted black and red XXR 513s, but now I'm leaning toward gold BBS w/ a polished lip or one of my favorite rims of all time Ronal R10 Turbos..  what do you think for wheels?

Ah, nice. The recovering ought to be fantastic. I'll probably be redoing my headliner in some kind of cloth. Mine is very clean, but I don't particularly like the vinyl. I think either wheel would look fantastic. I'm holding out for some RSs unless I find something else for the right price. If you like the R10 Turbos (which are fantastic, BTW) you might like some Compomotives. JackBenny over on R3V has a pair on his 318is and they look great.

Hope he doesn't mind me using his pic! He's got one of the best build threads I've read. Def check it out.
