Removing the spoiler.
« on: September 18, 2006, 09:07:35 AM »
I can see where the trunk lip spoiler is bolted on.  Looks pretty simple to remove.  However it appears like that spoiler has really bonded with the trunk surface.  I don't want to risk damaging it IF I remove it for painting.

Anybody have experience removing the spoiler?

...likely?  I don't want to have to replace anything until I save up enough for new half axles.

mine wasn't ever when I had the car.  I know the e36 m3's were thought, that glue is freakin insane.  You have to run a wire under there and it takes forever to get off.
