explain how it will ruin an engine any more than forced induction? have you ever had experience with nitrous?

and fyi it isn't NOS.. it is nitrous. you don't call all brakes brembo's do you? or all exhaust borla?

FI is FI no matter how you do it. Nitrous is no harder on your engine then a turbo or a supercharger. It all depends on how much you use (shot). The same goes for turbo's and superchargers (PSI).... Now if go with nitrous make sure its a wet system and get a nitrous controller. The nitrous controller will help with bigger shots. It will keep you from breaking your tires loose... It would also help with a more linear pull.

well said. also the other benefit to a nitrous controller is most have window switch parameters you can set so you won't hit the limiter on the kit if you miss a gear or something. run 1 step colder plugs and don't get any fancy plugs.

and one investment that i will never go without out on any other cars i build and is good for any FI car is a wideband a/f gauge.

Ok I have been sourcing parts for my build. These is what i came up with.

JE Pistons with total seal gapless top rings, ceramic coated crowns, and moly coated skirts $720
Heavy duty wrist pins $60
Vac- Performance coated main bearing set $129.95
Vac- performance coated rod bearing kit $179.95
ARP- main connecting rod bolt kit $139.95
ARP- performance head stud kit $194.95
MLS- multi layered steel head gasket $179.95

Total = $1604.75

Now I'm waiting for car to get home from its respray, so i can start on my build!

I just found this nistrous controller http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PY60dXJw90
