That is so awesome.  One of these days I'll have me an '02.  Then I'll ask you how you shoved an M42 into it.

do you have pictures of how you mounted the shifter.  i am in the process of swapping an m42 into a 73 opel manta i have the mounts made but was looking for a simpler shifter mechanism than the e30 one.

I'w seen a one bad thing in yours pics.replace the coil pack away from exaust manifold,its bad place for him.

yes,a COP is exelent conversion,but iff you see in pics , coil pack is a later model from 318ti,its hawe a diferent socket,and a COP didn't fit.
