engine cut and miss

engine cut and miss

Hi my name is marc-andré and i am owner of a bmw 318is 1991.
i have post and read alot on many forum for that problem so.
the car idle is now  750 rpm. i dont know if it suppose to be at 750 or 1000.
if i ride over 3000 rpm the car will start to buck missfiering or someting like this
when the problem start if i release the gas pedal the car will run normaly
if i press to got 3000 or 2500 it will start to buck missfiering and if i press over
the car will going to idle and start to buck and sound like a truck with an engine break
so i have check the black wire box under my intake and its like a new
i have change
-air flow sensor
-crank sensor
-cam sensor
-blue temp sensor




 i am tired you are my last chance before i paid somebody for working on my baby

Could be ignition coils, I had the same prob. Turned out to be my no.3 ignition coil i think. If they're old, you can replace them all or you can be cheap like me, buy one, and keep switching it to see if the problem is resolved. This last :cool:  method won't help if you have more than one coil bad though.

Ok, before you go replaceing all the expensive parts, and i know this sound dumb but i used to be a BMW technician. When was the last time you replaced your spark plugs? or your plug wires? Check all your vacuum lines, this sound like it could be a simple fix, dont forget how simple our engines are, check those things and then post back on your findings and we can go from there.

I dont know how many times ive seen people start to throw parts at their car when all it need was some plug wires, or something simple.

Yeah, plugs and wires would probably be a good place to start if you havent done so already.

sparkplug are ok all hoses are brand new its the first thing i have done on the car.and wire look good but try to change too

that was stupid as my o2 sensor

i have change this before but that beter now
