Hello! I have a 1991 318i 4-door, looking to tighten up the front end. Scanning through the forum, control arms, bushings, tie rods, steering rack is what I want to do. Anyone have success with eBay packages with control arms and tie rods all included? Just dont want to get all the parts and they dont fit properly.. Thanks for any info!

i keep learning the lesson of "don't buy shit from ebay" over and over.

go to bimmerworld. if that's too expensive, try http://www.alloembmwparts.com/ and do some shopping.

Fcp Groton has an ebay store that I have had very good experiences with. Other than that, no. Or you could go directly to their website.

I had a bad experience with FCP Groton's parts (a control arm was too long and a missing drag link), but they made it right. I'll be putting their eight-piece kit on the front of my '87 sedan soon & report back.

I'd have bought OEM Lemfoerder from BMA or Pelican normally, but the FCP Groton came free with the car. I also had a great experience with MAC Auto Parts with a Jetta cat-back. Cheap, made in USA, quick shipping & it fit well. Time will tell how long it lasts.

I JUST completed a 7-piece FCP Groton set-up on my 1991 318is. (As well as H&R/Billy Sport/15mm Drop Hats)

I had some trouble getting it on, but I DID get it on. I got the control arms, poly control arm bushings, tie-rod assemblies, sway bar links (front only).

I have not put many miles on them (less than 10) but I can tell you it feels a lot tighter. I would definitely suggest them for the price, and I got the whole setup in about 3 days.

If I do have any problems, I will be sure to post about it, but I am glad their parts are made mostly in the USA.

Sorry to be unclear. I think FCP's stock is Indian. The "made in USA" bit was the Jetta cat-back exhaust from MAC Auto Parts Discounts EBay store.
