FS ITB's $200+ship (Hawaii)
« on: July 06, 2010, 12:42:35 PM »
I have some ITB's from a Euro S50 that I was going to modify for the M42 since they are damaged. But I am selling my car and saving up for the M3 fund. They will require some modification. One bell is cracked, but you only need four.

I'm not a betting man. But if I was was, my money says the car went ass over tea kettle due to some charming young British lad attempting to make his way home from the pub before the cozzers could nick him.

Anyhow, they are still for sale.

From what I can see, it's just a little porting and adding metal because one stud hole per cylinder is off.

Unrelated to m42's but would these fit m5x/s5x family?

Studs I think will not fit, the same like on M42. S50 or S52 should fit. For I6 engines it is better to buy whole set with airbox.

They are S50, so they would fit those. Don't know about any other motors. These aren't any good for a 6cyl any way. You'd be better off buying a non damaged set.

I can't give a definitive answer. But I would count on needing a new tune.
