Weak start idle

So this problem, as seen in the video, started last week.

I changed my spark plugs prior to this issue then the idle issue started. So I switched back to my old spark plugs and the issue continued.

Then today I replaced my fuel filter, which helped initially, but then the problem came back.

The idle issue only happens when I turn the car on (every time), after that it runs perfectly fine.



Any ideas?

the car is a 95 318


I am not sure if it is just in my head, but it seems as if the problem only arises when it is humid. Mind you, it has been humid almost every day.

Doesn't look too far off of normal... maybe idle control valve sticking while cold?  Maybe pull it off and give it a good cleaning.  Also, is it possible that any hoses got bumped loose etc while you were working on it?  A vacuum leak might cause your trouble also.

So I think I may have found the problem.

I forgot when I changed my spark plugs that I also took out the resonator.

I put it back in and seems as if the problem has gone away.
