just luckily aquired a 1991 318is. I took it straight over to my boys shop...i decided to keep the streetability and moderately drop it on vokland springs/bilstein sports. Im now having a custom 4.10 lsd built to replace my "pegleg" stocker. Im having it installed later this week along with a z3 (semi-short) shifter and volvo lip. Im already looking into some real expensive custom chips along with considering the jim conforti/mark d chips. any suggestions??
getting a little more in depth... ill be converting my flywheel over to a 325i setup. im taking a 325 flywheel, clutch, pressure plate and drive pinion for starter, along with a late 70s, early 80s 323 throw-out bearing.
all said and done ill loose more than half the mass on my flywheel
then it'll be adjustable cam gears and getting the timing dialed.
then.... build a custom cold air intake(might make its way up list)
and finally... get my exhaust finished(stock other than Dynomax super turbo).
Need help with more suggestions.. and ideas. feel free to let me know what you think of my plans.
BTW.... Im taking donations for my new addiction(E30s) haha.
