Author Topic: Oil check valve (Read 3720 times)

So i removed the head on an e30 m42 and I didn't see the oil check valve on the block. Some people have been saying that only the e36 m42s have them. SO would it be beneficial to add the oil check valve on? Perhaps it already has one built in and cannot be seen? Thanks in advance.

The oil check valve is a good thing to have.

In filter housing we have two check valves, I think it's more than enough.

bump! I have an E30 M42, and it has no oil feed check valve. Is this OK?
