are you talking about the rubber lines or the steel lines that go from the master?

All of the steel lines..I blew one a few weeks ago (in the back of the car), and just a few days ago, another one let go..So i want to have all of them done, because it will just keep happening.. I was told by a brake specialty shop, it would be around 300..ballpark of course.. This sounds like a good price to me but im looking for some imput. Thanks

i had to have 2 lines made for mine and they were only like 8" a piece and they were like $80 for just those i mean they were custom but still lol

I replaced every single line on both my E30's. I bought the correct length sections at AutoZone, 3/16" diameter, european fittings are already on the lines. Rented their tube bending tool for $10 (you get your money back when your done) and lines were anywhere from $4 for the short ones to $8 for the longer ones. I don't think I spent $20 for all of them for the whole car.

Since i am moving 10 hours away next month, i dont think i can trust myself to replace my own brake lines..if anything goes wrong alone my trip..it could be really bad for me. So ill go with the mechanic i visited already. Thanks Guys!

I did the same thing as PKennedy on my old VW...it was much easier than I expected. I bought a cheap bending tool and bought the correct lengths of Euro flared line. I didn't have a tape measure so I stretched a string along each one then transferred that to a yard stick for the final measurement.

Bending brake line is fun...just no very tight bends or you'll crimp the line and ruin it.

If you go with a pro, you might want to have him replace the fuel tank hard lines too. They run right along the brakes and might be in the same condition.
