Author Topic: Legit Vacuum Diagrams? (Read 4549 times)

Hey all, I have searched this site for original vacuum hose diagrams, and so far all I can find is what people think is right, I can not decipher the hose diagram on the shock tower either because the sticker is mostly ruined.

Basically my ideling is terrible, my car idles way to high usually, but sometimes it idles fine. When I come to a stop the idle will be at 1500 and then very slowly and gradually back down to around 850 where it should be. First I thought idle control valve, so I cleaned mine, nothing happened, so I got another one, I've seafoamed, I've put lucas injector cleaner through it, my next best idea is shitty vauum lines, they seem kind of old, but I do not even know the proper routing.

Does anyone have any ideas for me? Any help would be awesome!

RealOem.com -> Select your car -> Browse parts -> Engine -> Vacuum control

If searching for vacuum leaks, you should go get some brakecleaner and start spraying each rubber line and seal one by one. If your engine revs you know you've found it. It helped solve my problem.

realoem doesn't give the option of Vacuum Control under Engine for my VIN :confused:

You have to click archive on the first page at realoem.com and then you can pick E30.

Uugh, the vacuum system is such a pain in the ass! Rebuilding it took forever.

RED IS 91, that's a great diagram. There's no significance to the colors, is there?
