They are vaguely in the same area. A/C looks pretty similar (bolted to the block but with a different bracket for the auto tensioner). The other side is a lot different, with two tensioners on either side of the alternator.
I'd have to pull the splash guard off my car to be sure everything mounted up, but it looks to me like a direct swap. The block doesn't apprear to be different in any way. I'm not sure if the early cam chain case is the same as the later one though.
