anyone done the mono conversion? if so how big of a job was it and how about a parts list.

Or you can simply realign your passenger side wiper, and remove your driver side. Way easier and free. Of course you don't get the full sweep, but that could be modified.

I've done it with the kit from AKG; all the parts needed come with the kit -- mechanism, longer wiper arm, blade and holder, as well as the driver-side wiper-hole blank.

The process is laborious: from removal of the old wiper unit, to the install of the new unit.  Very little space to work in...if you have big hands, forget it.  A project I hope never to have to do again in my lifetime.

Now that it is done, I do like it though!  :D
