How about closing registration and deleting spammers?
« on: January 31, 2010, 11:00:25 PM »
Absolutely nothing is being done to curtail spammers on this board.

I've posted potential solutions and a description of the software that's used to spam these and other forums, but no joy.

How about a simple lock-down on registration, where people have to e-mail a moderator for registration approval?  I guess that presumes that there are moderators?

It looks to me that it seems a lot easier to make a whole new forum ran by a whole new group of people. From what I can tell there are not any mods or administrators. Making a forum is not hard much less getting it set up. Its getting people to move and telling
R3vlimited and bimmerforums to support the new site.
