LED Bar Graph Rev Counter Conversion
« on: December 10, 2009, 05:20:06 PM »
I just thought of a new use for those annoying service interval LEDs.

Has anyone ever seen an e30 with the service interval LEDs converted into a bar graph rev counter with a shift light?

I wanted try this on my 318is and I was wondering if anybody has accomplished this before.

I've seen write ups for O2 sensors...that was my thought.  They're pretty useless now...but were so cool in 1987!

i tried the o2 one and couldn't get it to work.  thought it would be cool for the o2 but not so cool for the rpm gauge.  i had it in an 85 300zx and it was cool on that.  very knight rider
