Turbo valves
« on: November 30, 2009, 05:27:57 AM »
Hi all,
I was thinking of a turbo built and in doing heaps of research it seems getting bigger intake and exhaust valves is the way to go. I wanted to know what options are out there, do I use valves from a different model or do I go after market.
Thanks guys!

On our engines you would be best off investing in a really good (5 cut) valve job and a bit of light head work by a pro. There ain't a lot of room in there for bigger valves.

With a turbo build the yield for porting work is less than a na engine percentage wise. Boost is cheaper... ;) Unless your trying for some extreme 800 HP insanity... Then all bets are off.
